Ep.09 Bhawana Chitkara / Lifestyle Boutique Founder
/ On Leaving Corporate, Growing Slowly, & Navigating Empathy As A Woman-Led Business Owner
Our life journeys can sometimes lead us down paths we never expected, especially when it comes to our careers. After spending 20 years in the corporate banking industry, Bhawana never imagined that her next venture would be entrepreneurship. But (as they say) — if something is meant for you, it won’t pass you by. Eight years later, Bhawana’s beautiful lifestyle boutique in Massachusetts lives (and thrives!) on. Bhawana joins Ewelina on the show to share her inspiring career journey, what led her to starting a brick-and-mortar boutique on Cape Cod, what it means to lead a business with empathy and emotion, the unexpected joys of building a loyal community and so much more.
